Dr. Henry H. Halley, author, minister, and Bible lecturer, was born in the Blue Grass section of Kentucky. He was ordained to the ministry in 1898. Then followed ten years of pastoral service in Michigan, during which he developed a fondness for memorizing favorite passages of the Bible.
