The Berenstain Bears Meet Bigpaw: A Thanksgiving Story (Berenstain Bears)

A new Thanksgiving storybook featuring everyone’s favorite bear family—the Berenstain Bears! Kids ages 3 to 7 will enjoy this sweet, Thanksgiving-themed story filled with fun, colorful illustrations—it’s the perfect read-aloud for the holiday season! This 32-page hardcover Berenstain Bears storybook, inspired by a Berenstain Bears Thanksgiving special that originally aired November 20, 1980, tells the tale of Bigpaw, the biggest bear in Bear Country! Will Brother and Sister be able to convince their neighbors that he’s just a very large and friendly bear? This humorous holiday tale is a story about acceptance and making new friends! Series Overview: We are publishing four Berenstain Bears titles in Fall 2022: Fair Is Fair (Berenstain Bears Gifts of the Spirit) and The Berenstain Bears Meet Bigpaw: A Thanksgiving Story (Berenstain Bears) are both 32-page hardcover storybooks, in addition to the following 32-page Gifts of the Spirit Sticker & Activity Books: LOVE & SWEETNESS and JOYFUL CELEBRATION. We launched the Berenstain Bears Gifts of the Spirit series with Caring (Spring 2021), Sharing(Summer 2021), Love (Fall 2021), Family (Spring 2022) and Trust (Summer 2022). We will also publish board book versions of each title one year after the publication of the hardcover storybook. We're hoping to reissue/recover five or six classic Berenstain Bears titles per year. Contributor Bio(s) Mike Berenstain is an author and illustrator of children's books. He is the son of Stan and Jan Berenstain, the creators of the popular Berenstain Bears series of picture books. Like Stan and Jan before him, Mike draws on his own experiences as a parent (and now as a grandparent) to inspire the family themes he writes about—including those in Gifts of the Spirit, a new line of faith-based hardcover and activity books featuring the Berenstain Bears. He lives and works in the rolling countryside of Eastern Pennsylvania—a place that looks very much like Bear Country.
