For more than fifty years, Don Gossett (1929–2014) served the Lord through full-time ministry. Born again at the age of twelve, Don answered his call to the ministry just five years later, beginning by reaching out to his unsaved family members. In March 1948, Don overcame his longtime fear of public speaking and began his ministry in earnest, preaching for two country Baptist churches in Oklahoma. Following this, he served as editor of T. L. Osborn's Faith Digest, a magazine that reached over 600,000 homes each month. Don penned many works, particularly ones on the power of the spoken word and praise. His writings have been translated into almost twenty languages and have exceeded twenty-five million in worldwide distribution. Additionally, Don recorded scores of audio series. His daily radio broadcast, launched in 1961, has been released into eighty-nine nations worldwide. Don raised five children with his first wife, Joyce, who died in 1991. In 1995, Don found lifelong love again and married Debra, an anointed teacher of the Word. They ministered worldwide and lived in British Columbia, Canada, and in Blaine, Washington State. In September 2009, Don and Debra (also an ordained minister) founded a new church in Vancouver, British Columbia, where they continue to serve as pastors.
